Offer an opportunity for residents of Kent County and West Michigan who have an interest in law enforcement to be of service to the community in a variety of ways that are oriented around law enforcement and public safety.

Provide trained auxiliary law enforcement personnel to assist the Kent County Sheriff’s Office when additional officers are needed to assist with patrol duties on the road, in the parks or with the marine unit.

Provide trained auxiliary law enforcement personnel to assist the Kent County Sheriff’s Office and all Kent County Area Law Enforcement Agencies when additional manpower is needed for emergencies, disasters, special events or high security details.
